I don't know if it's spring yet, but I had to clean out some of my files. Files with images like these.

I've spoken with different therapists over the years about my love for/obsession with robots, suits of armor, and mechanical men. I know I love 'em all--but which one is my favorite?

The very talented Leia Powell knows that I like robots, cyborgs, mechanical men, androids, and especially people in armored suits. You see, Leia is very talented at many endeavors, not the least of which is the art of making stained glass and she asked me casually who/what my favorite character is. So many robots...so little town. I started with a big list and managed to reduce it down to just four.

GORT!

IRON MAN`

ROBBY. ROBOT

and ROBOCOP!

Leia did some amazing sketches of these characters, making my decision even more difficult. In the end, a few months from now, this striking portrait of Iron Man will be hanging in my office window. I can't wait but I have to.
