Barking up the wrong tree...

All the dogs in the neighborhood have been barking at nothing all afternoon. It's kinda creepy. Could they be detecting an upcoming earthquake or alien invasion? Meanwhile, all five of our cats are fast asleep and don't have a care in the world. Cats can be jerks at times, but most of them are pretty smart so I'll trust that there is no imminent danger, and the dogs are just being mental.

If the dogs aren't barking, they are fighting. They all think that they are XCF champs but really they are all mixtures of various chihuahua breeds and I could crush any of them with one thumb. Which I might do. If the dogs aren't barking or fighting, the guy next door is practicing his horn (no songs, just endless 'toots' and scales) for his future as a mariachi band member. Seriously. Sometimes the band members come over and play with him. Not often, mostly because he only 'toots' and plays scales.

Barking or not, there will be no dog crushing while I'm around--so wait for when I'm not around :}

And the kid next door plays the trombone and they don't have those guys in mariachi bands, do they?
